Who We Are
Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is an outpatient mental health clinic and provides individual, group, and family counseling; psychiatric services for children and adults; and psychiatric rehabilitation services to children, adolescents and adults. The company was designed in 2009 by a team of experienced mental health clinicians with a passion to provide treatment and educate individuals with behavioral challenges.
ITS providers serve Prince George’s County, Howard County, Washington County, Anne Arundel County, Montgomery County, Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Our clinicians are trained in working with survivors of traumatic experiences, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood disorders, conduct disorder, substance abuse, personality disorders and a host of other diagnoses.
Bilingual clinicians are also available for Spanish-speaking clients.

Counseling and Psychiatric Services
Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) provides individual, group, family and school based mental health counseling to children, adolescents and adults. Psychiatric services are available for evaluations and medication management. We treat clients for anxiety disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood disorders, conduct disorder, substance abuse, personality disorders and a host of other diagnoses. Our extensive evaluation enables us to provide an in depth assessment and provide unique services to each client.
ITS accepts various private insurances and Medical Assistance. Please contact us for a specific listing. ITS does not discriminate nor turn away clients who cannot afford services, and therefore can provide services to clients based on a sliding scale fee.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRP)
PRP is a program designed for children, adolescents and adults that incorporates the collaboration between the therapist and rehabilitation coordinator to promote positive behaviors and interactions, while decreasing negative behaviors. The PRP Coordinators provide service visits with clients working on goal-oriented behavior approximately once per week. Group sessions for PRP services are held regularly on site. The behaviors that the rehabilitation coordinator addresses consist of the following:
Children and Adolescent Clients
- Social Skills • Coping Skills • Independent Living Skills • Conflict Resolution • Anger Management • Group session activities to enhance social interaction skills with peers
Adult Clients
- Relapse Prevention • Money Management Skills • Obtaining and Maintaining Housing • Employment Assistance • Self-care and Social Skills • Assistance With Obtaining Entitlements and Other Resources • Self-management and Wellness
PRP Eligibility:
- Ages 6 and up
- Medicaid Recipients
If requesting PRP only, the child MUST be enrolled in therapy and forms MUST be completed by the treating therapist.
