Misty Cromartie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience in the mental health field. Misty received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and went on to pursue a Master of Arts in Psychology at the Catholic University of America.
Misty has experience conducting research with children and adolescents, providing psychiatric rehabilitation services, therapeutic staff support and providing individual and family therapy. Misty has worked with adults with substance abuse issues, foster care children, at-risk youth and juvenile offenders; as well as providing intensive outpatient group therapy and individual therapy. Misty is passionate about issues that young people face such as peer pressure, validation and self-esteem.
Marcia Hancock, LCSW-C

Marcia Hancock has over 11 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a multitude of settings, including schools; detention centers; and outpatient mental health centers. Marcia has treated children with conduct disorder, attention deficit hyper activity disorder, anxiety disorder, schizoid affective disorder, learning disabilities, and mood disorders.
Marcia received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from American University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Marcia is also a Licensed School Social Worker and a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical.
Carrie E. Lewis, M.D.
Dr. Carrie Lewis is a double board-certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the mental health treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
Dr. Carrie Lewis earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. She graduated with her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at George Washington University and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Children’s National Medical Center.
Dr. Carrie Lewis has extensive experience providing comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, to her patients in various settings including hospitals, schools, outpatient mental health clinics, drug-treatment centers, and even tele-psychiatry in rural areas of Maryland. She is passionate about providing quality, evidence-based care and educating her patients and their families about mental illness, treatment options, and overall wellness. She serves as Medical Director at Innovative Therapeutic Services, where she works collaboratively with her team to provide exceptional, personalized mental health treatment.
Jennifer Lowery, LCPC-S

JenniferLowery is a State of Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 20+ years of experience in education, community based mental health and working with children and their families. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Shepherd University and pursued her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from American Public University.
Jennifer works with each client in a compassionate, non-judgmental and personalized manner to meet their individual needs. Jennifer uses a strength based approach in her work and believes that it is important to motivate, empower and encourage each individual to achieve their goals.
A vital team member for Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) since 2017, Jennifer provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She currently provider services at our Hagerstown office, in Washington County Public Schools and in clients’ homes throughout Washington County.
Jennifer is also a trained facilitator of the Love and Logic Parenting Program.
