Meagan Whitfield is the Clinical Director of Innovative Therapeutic Services, Corp. She received her B.S. from Bowie State University and her M.A. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, D.C. Ms. Whitfield conceptualizes from an Object Relations perspective and specializes in child and adolescent development.
She possesses a passion for working with clients with dual diagnosis and implementing level B assessments to compliment qualitative clinical skills. Ms. Whitfield has received extensive training in trauma therapy and is certified as a Level 1 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. To demonstrate appreciation for her mentors, Ms. Whitfield welcomes an exchange of knowledge while working with clinical interns. She believes in the complimentary integration of mental health, faith-based modalities, and physiological well-being and frequently incorporates physical exercise into her individual and group sessions.
In addition to therapy, Meagan regularly practices and teaches Zumba and yoga; she is certified as Y12SR space holder.
