Innovative Therapeutic Services, Corp. (ITS) is an outpatient mental health clinic that provides individual, group, and family counseling; psychiatric services for children and adults; and psychiatric rehabilitation services to children, adolescents, and adults. We were designed in 2009 by a team of experienced mental health clinicians with a passion to provide treatment and educate individuals with behavioral challenges. ITS is committed to providing the best mental health and wellness services for our clients and their families to help them achieve a mentally healthier self.

School-Based Therapists (FT Employee & Contractual Positions Available)

 

 

We are currently looking for innovative clinicians or clinical social workers to join our growing family. Clinicians must be licensed in the State of Maryland (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT) and will be responsible for providing mental health services to students (ages 4+) in the school setting, at home, and/or via telehealth.

Locations Available:

  • Catonsville, Maryland (BCPS)
  • Fort Washington, Maryland (PGCPS)
  • Gwynn Oak, Maryland (BCPS)
  • Silver Spring, Maryland (MCPS)
  • Temple Hills, Maryland (PGCPS)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage, and Family Therapy, or Social Work
  • Licensed LMSW/LCSWC/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT in the State of Maryland (active and in good standing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, EHR/EMR, excellent oral and written communication skills, and reliable transportation.
  • Position requires flexibility, organizational skills, creativity, and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complete minimum weekly billable hours by providing individual, family, and/or group therapy in a school setting.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation of client psychosocial evaluations/reassessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge/transition summaries, charts, and weekly billing sheets.
  • Assess and develop individual treatment plans semi-annually. 
  • Assess clients’ needs for other types of service such as PRP, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, or referrals for the outside treatment depending on the client’s needs.
  • Attend at least two school events per school each academic year to attract new clientele (Ex: Parent/Teacher Conferences, Back to School Night).
  • Conduct at least two workshops; groups; and/or training per year. 
  • Attend and participate in weekly/bi-weekly/monthly supervision. 
  • Attend meetings with the School-Based Director.
  • Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and clinical training/professional development training as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Clinical Therapists (Contractual)

We are currently looking for innovative clinicians or clinical social workers to join our growing family. Clinicians must be licensed in the State of Maryland (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT) and will be responsible for providing mental health services to clients in-person/community-based/telehealth – ranging from 5 years old and up! Evening and weekend availability is a bonus!

  • Remote (Must be licensed in Maryland)
  • Frederick (Hybrid)
  • Hagerstown (Hybrid)

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program Coordinator (PRP) – Contractual Position

Locations Available:

  • Arnold, Maryland
  • Hagerstown, Maryland
  • Randallstown, Maryland

Job Summary

This is a flexible part-time (15-20 hours/week) contractual position.

This position requires 75%-100% travel/fieldwork through Anne Arundel County.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide one-on-one face-to-face weekly sessions for one (1) hour. Sessions will focus on one goal per week from the client’s Individualized Rehabilitation Plan.
  • Document daily/weekly progress notes accurately and promptly within 72 hours of each visit. 
  • Monthly summary submissions are required at the end of each month. Four (4) visits per month for child clients are required either offsite or onsite. Six (6) visits per month for adult clients are required offsite or onsite.
  • Conduct or collaborate two (2) mandatory monthly onsite groups to help the client improve and maintain social skills.
  • Collaborate with the client’s therapist, psychiatrist, and resources in their community will be required to better support their mental health diagnosis every six months.
  • For any assigned adult clients, Daily Living Activities (DLA) are required to be completed every six months.
  • Create, review, and update the client’s Individualized Rehabilitation Plan quarterly.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory monthly training.
    *Free CEUs will be provided during these trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field (Ex: Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, EHR/EMR, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong time management skills, and reliable transportation.
  • Position requires flexibility, organizational skills, creativity, and self-sufficiency.
