Chief Executive Officer

Misty has over 14 years of experience in the mental health field conducting research with children and adolescents providing psychiatric rehabilitation services, therapeutic staff support and conducting therapy. The populations she has worked with include children, adolescents, adults with substance abuse issues, foster care children, at-risk youth, and juvenile offenders.

She has conducted intensive outpatient group therapy as well as individual therapy. She received her  Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and went on to pursue a Master  of Arts in Psychology at the Catholic University of America. She is passionate about issues that young people face such as peer pressure, validation, and self-esteem. Mentoring is also another passion. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Supervisor in the State of Maryland.


Chief Operating Officer

Marcia has over 12 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a multitude of settings, including schools, detention centers, and outpatient mental health centers. Marcia has treated children   with conduct disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety disorder, schizoid affective disorder, learning disabilities, and mood disorders.

She has her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from American University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work at Baltimore. Marcia is also a Licensed School SocialWorker and a Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical.  She is also a Board-Certified Supervisor in the State of Maryland.


Medical Director and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Mr. Travis Baird, CRNP, PMHNP, APRN serves as our Medical Director and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in the mental health treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Mr. Baird graduated from Hunter College as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2014. He obtained his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from George Washington University.

Mr. Baird has worked holistically treating patients with chronic pain and substance use disorders with medication management and talk therapy. Although one of his specialties is substance use disorder, he will continue providing mental health services for individuals across all spectrums of life.

Mr. Baird comes from a diverse multiethnic background and is fluent in Spanish. His approach to mental health is integrative and holistic, emulating philosophy’s original principles as we treat the body, targeting emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.


Clinical Director

Jennifer is a State of Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 20+ years of experience in education, community based mental health and working with children and their families. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Shepherd University and pursued her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from American Public University.

Jennifer works with each client in a compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized manner to meet their individual needs. Jennifer uses a strength-based approach in her work and believes that it is important to motivate, empower and encourage each individual to achieve their goals.

A vital team member for Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) since 2017, Jennifer provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She currently provider services at our Hagerstown office, in Washington County Public Schools and in clients’ homes throughout Washington County. Jennifer is also a trained facilitator of the Love and Logic Parenting Program.


Director of School-Based Programs

Nicole Taylor is a licensed counselor in the state of Maryland. She is also a board-certified supervisor. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Baltimore and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Tampa.

Nicole’s professional experience comes from providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, such as schools, outpatient substance abuse treatment center, crisis intervention center, state correctional institutions, and private practice.

She has experience in counseling individuals with a variety of issues, such as adjustment problems, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and substance abuse. She has experience in clinical services that include individual therapy, group therapy, couples counseling, and family counseling.
