ABOUT TESSA

Tessa Snowberger is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor working in outpatient mental health clinics for the past four years. Tessa was awarded a Master's degree in clinical psychological science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and following this, graduated with a Certificate of Advanced Study in pastoral counseling from Loyola University Maryland in 2019.

Tessa is passionate about helping individuals who manage mood disorders, anxiety, attention dysregulation, life transitions, grief/loss, chronic illness, and issues surrounding relationship dynamics. In 2015, Tessa worked at the National Institute of Mental Health while in her master's program, which fueled her pursuit of scientific advancements and cutting-edge research to inform clinical practice and academic writing. Tessa presented posters at conferences such as the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy and co-authored in peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles on treatment-resistant depression.
